@@PJ_2211 Lol... you couldnt be more wrong. Ive got 3 coolers now that have been setup for over 3 years and have no issues with any of them. I have done this for several of my friends as well. You clearly did something wrong.

It is a cigar humidor. Its sold and marketed for cigars only. Its basically a wine fridge that had the metal racks replaced with cedar drawers and shelves. Works fantastic.

@@nickdogg1993 thanks... I asked because I converted a wineador, but I don't plug it in because it tries to keep the humidity around 65% I believe. That's not terrible but I guess I should need to change over to 65% boveda instead of 72%

@@frankwhite7006 65% is actually perfect. Thats what I set mine to all the time now. 70% was too high and it was causing burn issues. Once I switched to 65% burn issues improved 1000%.

I had considered it, but the amount of effort for a nearly identical outcome made me choose this route. Plus, if the lights ever went bad, it would have to be taken apart and unsoldered to remove. Going this route its a simple removal and installation of new lights.

@@nickdogg1993 Cool. I just bought one of these table-top cigar coolers for my Man Cave. I ordered LED lights to do this same project. Does the IR receiver for the remote get in the way of hiding the wires next to, or behind the cooler? BTY! Your project looks amazing. The company should include this in their product as a standard feature.

@@gregpruitt1647 not at all. The sensor is underneath the cooler so you just have to aim the remote at that lower area of the cooler. If you aim it high sometimes it wont recognize the signal. But I rarely have any issues with it.

I dont typically do infused cigars, so I am not the best person to answer that question. However, from what I have read it is always a good idea to separate the infused cigars since they can make all your cigars taste infused.

So what did you end up doing?

You can cut down an much or littke as you need. I used like 5ft of cable and cut off a foot or so. There are cut lines printed on the cable indicating where they are safe to cut.

Havent had any experience with that. But most cigar coolers follow the same design since theyre technically wine coolers. So it should work no problem.

Yes I did. I bought the round digital hygrometers on Amazon. Very cheap. The ones I bought are no longer available but they have several identical ones from different "brands".

Honestly, the adhesive does not give off any smell that I ever noticed. Even if it did, I doubt it would be enough to absorb into the cigars with all the cedar wood and air circulation in the cooler.

I dont know the voltage, but I assume it would be much higher than required for these LED lights. The built in leds have a power board, so they are probably rated off 110v with resistors to bring it down. Im not an electrician, but this would be my guess.

I actually use the silica type hydro beads, not the gel type ones. I throw them in pantyhose and soak them in distilled water. Good to go. Check youtube theres some good videos for the hydro beads.

You route the cable underneath the cigar cooler, and then you can just plug it into a phone charger block since its USB powered! Super convenient.

Hey thank you! I would not recommend routing through the drainplug because it could cause excess water to collect and not drain properly. This could cause mold, humidity spikes, etc... doing it the way it is in the video has been the best way for me!

Thanks bud. The shelf fits 2 of the robusto sized cigars side by side. The interior is a little over 10 inches wide so it fits with little to no room to spare. But it does fit. You have to line them up just right to keep them from getting snagged when you slide the drawer in and out. But it works if you take the time!

Still working perfect! I have 2 side by side now, 1 for wine and 1 for cigars.

It settles down to about 65-68. It was higher in that video because i had just had the door open and put new stock in from the mail. It always settles back down within a few hours.

As long as your home isnt above 60% you should be fine. My home stays around 62% most of the year. I dont use any humidification devices at all anymore and my cooler sits around 64-65%

Yes, mufflers do nothing for emissions. By the time the exhaust gases get to the muffler theyve already been converted.

nickdogg1993 yeah , but I though some emissions testing sites physically check for the muffler . Oh i didn’t realize I messaged you on two videos . I was looking for vids of muffler deletes and was just commenting on each one . Thanks for responding to both though . Sounds good

@@twinscoupe no problem, and if they check for the muffler they are just being ridiculous. From what ive seen/heard, they usually dont care unless its obnoxiously loud. Like straight headers loud, otherwise youre fine. This muffler delete is honestly quiet, my E60 550i was 2x as loud with a muffler delete.

Yes, it will pass emissions. Mufflers only job is to dampen/quiet the sound of the exhaust. The catalytic converter is what converts the pollutant gases to water. As long as you keep your cats, and keep up on your maintenance (spark plugs, injectors, coils, o2 sensors, etc. you will pass emissions)
